Want to join us for the March 4 Life this year?
sign up below!
Who can come?
All 11th graders and older (mature 9th & 10th graders are allowed case by case)
When is it this year?
Jan 20th-25th (see full itinerary)
How much is it?
It is a $100 non-refundable deposit .
When is our $100 due?
It is due no later than November 20th. Anyone unpaid by November 20th will be dropped from the trip.
How is it so cheap? Other churches and parishes are charging $500-$800.
It is $500 for you to go. We have very generous parishioners that donate during our March 4 Life Gumbo Sales. In addition to your deposit, you are expected to be at every gumbo sale possible to help pay the rest of your $400 that we are covering up front. Every gumbo sale you come to, knocks $50 off your $400 you owe us back. This is not a free trip without effort so you will be responsible for paying that $400 if you don’t help fundraise. You help fundraise, you work off what you owe! If you truly can’t make the gumbo sales, we’ll help you with fundraising ideas but you must still fundraise.
Can my parent(s) come with me?
This is a youth pilgrimage and so there is a limit to the adults that can come. That being said, we still need chaperones! We are allowed 1 adult for every 6 teens. You want more adults to come? Get 6 more friends signed up! Chaperone’s trip cost is covered by St. Joseph’s.
Are young adults allowed?
We have mentors which are young adults from the ages of 18-21.
What happens if I back out after November 20th?
Your spot will go to someone on the waiting list. This applies to both adults and teens.
What about school?
We have a letter you can give to your school adviser to show that this is a good social studies trip with all the historical sites we see. Get that letter here.
If you have other questions, check the website for the pilgrimage here. Ms. Sarah is not in charge of this pilgrimage, just our group. Ms. Sarah does not make the rules for this pilgrimage, she just enforces them.
